MD, The Akdeniz Faculty of Medicine
Born in in Germany ,he finished Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine as MD. He completed his special studies in neurology at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Neurology in 1991 and received his degree in 1996. Having worked at his private practice together with his father Prof.Farabi Dora for some years he started his career at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine Department of Neurology in 2000. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2004 and became Professor in Neurology in 2010.
Professor Dora has been the chairman of the Department of Neurology at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine since July 2010. He established the Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound laboratory in 2000, the Headache Outpatient Clinic in 2004 and the Stroke Outpatient Clinic in 2010. He was elected to the Directory Board of the Turkish Neurological Association in May 2011. Prof Bora speaks English and German.
